Color-matched to virtually any shade, powder coating is applied by spraying a dry powder onto a metal substrate that is electrically grounded. As the powder travels through the spray gun, it becomes electrostatically charged, allowing it to adhere evenly to the grounded surface.
The coated part is then transferred into our 120-foot curing oven, designed to accommodate parts up to 16 feet in length. Inside the oven, heat melts the powder and chemically fuses it to the substrate. The result is a uniform, high-quality finish that is significantly more durable and environmentally friendly than traditional liquid paint.

Powder coating adds more resistance to scratching, fading, cracking, chipping and rusting compared to other finishes. Virtually any color can be produced, including metallics, textures and wrinkles that can hide imperfections in your part. Powder is less expensive than liquid, and much safer for the environment. There are no solvents or chemicals in powder and up to 99% of the overspray can be recycled in our reclaim booth. Powder is also corrosion-proof and resistant to most chemicals, unlike liquid paint.

I got my Jeep's rock rails and door hinge steps powdercoated here with heavy-duty textured black. They were able to accept a pallet shipment directly from the manufacturer, TNT Customs, which worked great. We transported the rails home in our truck bed wrapped in blankets.
